Can anyone help me sort this muddle out I have George Turner Brown [my gt grandfather ] born1861 Leicester He had a brother Valentine born 1873 On Georges birth cert his parents were Sarah Ann [Lord] and Francis Brown I have located the family in 1881 in Coventry Street Leicester Sarah was a widow I asked for a look up for Leicester 1891 /1901 forValentine and the look up came for 1891 that he was with sibblings and head Francis[ who was dead on the 1881] no sarah is there two family's with the same name ??? HELP!!!! please Lynn

There is only one Valentine on the BMD for Leicester, so I'd say it's the same family.

I'd agree with Tracy there is Alfred who appears in both census too with Valentine PLUS when searching Valentine is the ONLY one in Leicestershire with the right year. I'll have a butchers on 1871 see what occurs there. BRB

I think I have found George in 1861, However! The head of the house is David! Mother is just Ann. They have a daughter also called Sarah Ann. Living in Leicester St Margaret.
