Find Ancestors

Hi Jane If you still have some free time I'd be really grateful if you find find the name of my Dad's Dad. My Dad is David Churchman b1944 (in Scunthorpe I think) his Mother was called Ethel b1915c. I believe my Grandad was called Ernest and was maybe born up north. I have tried on the census and it's cost me a fortune. Any info would be gratefully received. Not to worry if you are too busy. Dianne, am afraid i would struggle to find your lot as they weren't born until c1915, the last available census is 1901, they will still be too late for 1911 in 5 years too.............. the only thing you can do is find certificates, start with your dads, then work backwards. you can find records on FreeBMD, but it is far from complete, and have only just started on records after 1901 so don't expect to find them all at once, lol. the other place to try is 1837(.) com, but you do have to pay to see their records, but they have later records & i believe it is complete ! sorry i can't be any more help to you Jane

Hi Jane Smiths too easy for you eh!!!! Lets go back to Davies from Wales LOL Yes they are the right ones. Daughter Catherine married my William Atkins that you found from Gt Oxenden. Father Anthony must have died??? Can you look up other known children of Anthony (possibly deceased) and Ann, I have Anthony born 10/12/1810, Ekin born 27/01/1821 married a Mary Emery in 1843 all Raunds (1851 census) please................. Hi could you look up Henry Plaisted of Deptford Kent who died on 8th July 1958 at River Park, Nr Petworth, Sussex Also Henry Playsted of 61 Donnatts Road, New Cross, Kent. He was a Hop Factor and widower....don't know wifes name either........died 24th August 1876 at above address. Only Child was Mary Ann, who maried a John Langford. Many thanks Claire Plaisted

Hi Jane, Please could you find any census info on the following: Thomas Greaves and his family about 1790/1800 living in Easingwold area of North Riding Yorkshire. His son (John) was born in 1821 in Raskelf. Married Hannah Webster in 1849, that is where I got Thomas's name from, he was an Ag Labourer. Hope there is enough to help. Kind Regards Richard

Jane, you're right, they aint there !!!! have got George jnr in 1871, but nothing on others even went down the route of looking for deaths for parents, esp George & then Ruth remarrying, and also is possible that Jane was married by 1861 too, but theres loads of possibilities for her marriage !! sorry, being abit useless at the minute !!
