Hiya I'm trying to trace the parents/grandparents of George STEGGAR b1909 Auckland, Co Durham George is shown as a coalminer on his m/cert -but I've got a picture of him in a Fireman's uniform ! He married Margaret Bone in 1936. The m/cert shows his father as JOHN GEORGE STEGGAR I've found John G Steggar b 1874 along with 4 other siblings, Adam, Elizth J, Henry and Wiliiam J ...... and parents George Steggar b1848 Bolton and Margt Steggar b1846 Tamhill, Yorks on the 1881 census I havent been able to go back or forwards on the census returns Can you help at all please ?
