Lesley you're a marvel. Yes I do think that the John Coates you found is my John. He was previously listed as a Coach Maker on 1851 census. Looks like the wife with him is his 2nd wife though, given the fact that the 2 x stepchildren living with him don't match anything I've seen before. I'm going to see if I can trace his 1st wife's death now & his 2nd marriage. Thanks again for looking. You're great. Suzy xx |

hi im trying to find the final side of my tree from hemel hempstead and bovingdon area herts. this is all ive got on them william final born c1917 died 1964 married winifred picton born 1917 they had 3 children. william george final c1884 d1955 married a kate darvell c1879 (miden name walduck) in 1904/6 they had 5 children george final c1852 married a ann(annie?) c1861? they had 3 children william george, leonard, may would like to know who george was married to and who his parents were. thank you sarah |

Hi Lesley, Thank you so much for the Rebecca Easterby lookup. Brilliant :~) We already have the 1851 census image as it contained a badly mistranscribed entry - my gg Grandfather. I was rather hoping that the 1841 census would turn up his mother Ann Sarah Stokes/Easterby (Rebecca's daughter). Another disappearing relative!! Alicia :~) |

thanks for the kind offer can you find any children for a john william wood he was born in 1868 in wolverhampton & married margaret walker marquis in 1894 in glasgow but they moved to england & had a son andrew alexander wood in 1894 born in tynemouth thanks liz |

Hi Lesley Thanks for trying to find Rulers details for me. Please can you look up for me marriage of Dorothy Letitita Breese born 1906 to Richard Smith. She was living in Wandsworth, and they went to live on farm in Wantage, Berkshire. I think it would be 1930s. Thanks Sandra |

Can you discover details of Samuel Oakes born 15/2/1899 listed as Whitegate Cheshire - sub division was Over I think, entry no373 no48 witnessed 28/3/1899 Thought I had him on 1881 census but obviously the wrong one as my f-i-l has just produced a very battered birth cert for him born 1899!
