Hi Sheila,i hope u can help me with a prob i have.i have the births of john/david/peter watts b.1947 e glam .they all have the same mother maiden name except one and all have the same vol/no.then i come across their deaths in 1947.and one has diff vol/no.hope all this makes sense.please help.

Hi Sheila, Would you please look in 1861 and 71, most likely Liverpool or Toxteth Park for James Whiteside born 1833 (give or take a couple of years) in Liverpool, a Bricklayer. Not sure if he was married at that time. Not much to go on, but any info would be a help Regards John

Selina, I have looked at the entries on Ancestry and can only find the same as you. Perhaps Peter died on a different day to the other two. The only way to be sure is to get the certificates which would be expensive. Sorry I cannot help you. Sheila

I wonder if you could possibly look up either the 1861 or 1871 census for JANE LLOYD born c1852 in Westbury in Shropshire. I've found her on 1881 by which time she was married, but I'd like to find her parents. Many thanks Cheryl

In 1881 (when she was Jane Williams) she gave her age as 29, and as she married in 1872 she can't have been born as late as 1858. In 1871 when she was working as a servant was she 19? and did she give Westbury as her birthplace? Many thanks Cheryl

Donna, I cannot find a Benjamin Thresher, The only Thresher I can find is a Thomas b.1832. I have looked on the 1841 census and cannot find any Thresher family in Hertfordshire. Where did you find him ? Sheila
