Hi Everyone, And thankyou for looking. I am still looking for information regarding my Gt Gt Gt Grandfarther ,George Durrell. I would like to obtain information regarding his passing which as proved to be a big problem for me, as i can`t seem to find it anywhere. He was born around 1830/33. His farther was John Durrell and his mother was a Charlotte Durrell nee Jackson. George married a Mary Mills in 1852.Her farther was a William Mills a cordwainer at that time. George and Mary had two children ,one being a Charlotte Elizabeth Durrell born the 26 May 1853 at the Friary in Southsea. Charlotte married a Richard Bunday or Bundey and Richard was a merchant seaman who i believe drowned. George was i believe a succesfull brickmaker and most of the Durrells i know off were in the same trade. I have had much help with this, but still don`t think i have found him yet as there are several Durrells with the same name. . Thankyou for your help G M F

Glenn, In 1861 George is still shown as at the Lennox Arms with his father.
George Sn is shown as Beerseller of the pub, and status is married, George Jr is shown as married, and a Brick Burner. It appears that George Jn sister and family are also at the Pub (George Lock, Ceila and 4 children) and a house servant.
This suggests Mary and Children are elswhere

Glenn, In the national archives, there is a record of the sale of the Lennox Arms from Tamplin Breweries to Friary. If you believe the Owen link, perhaps this record mentions your Burrell's too?
