I would like to add that I learned after my father had passed that he been in contact with his first two children over the years, but he had not spoken about them to me. The tree on Ancestry gives a different maiden surname for Esther / Ester - but no dates or other info, apart from claiming that she was born in "Hollande".

There's no marriage in England/Wales for her with that surname - which in any case is not that of Ronald Ivor's mother, unless she had been married before - also not in England/Wales.

As Frances is a Benjamin it is likely that Ronnie is family.

It is possible that Ronnie as Ronald is on a tree on Genes, tree owner David Benjamin.
