Its like her first husband Evan Jones, MC says Fathers name Evan Jones, and then her 2nd husband Joseph Humphreys, MC says Fathers name John Humphreys. If there were more middle names it might help. |

Possible child of the first marriage - but as you say, the names are so common. |

See what you mean, she may have thought her maiden name was Jones per the previous marriage. |

It's always possible that Mary (who signed the 1911 form) was wrongly including children from her first marriage. |

I don't need to know anything about Mary, its the children. Because; I have always thought she was a relative, since my last post I found a lady on Ancestry who has her in her tree, Mary is her GG Aunt. I would have left it at that, until I discovered that we have a DNA match, so now I think I can be sure Mary was a relative. We are trying now to work through the children, without much success. The purpose is to discover how we are related. |

Thank you ArgyllGran, I don't know why it came out in that format. |

This is just a question please, I have this 1911 census for Mary Honour/Honor Humphreys, where it states there were 12 children, 8 have died, 4 survived. |

There is a Martin who I am trying to see if she is a relative of mine. My previous post dated 9th September 2021. I am trying to prove whether or not she is a relation. My Great Aunt Bessie was sent to live with her when Bessie's Mother died. |

Are there any specific Martins you are looking for, Deborah? |

Could be another branch of the family, the only James Martin I have was baptised 16 Dec 1836, Ludgvan, Cornwall. No initial E though. Haven't looked for a spouse for him yet, but he is the brother of Christopher Martin 1849-1912. There are so many with the same common name and no middle name/initial. |

Although it stated in the newspaper article that Christopher wasn't expected to live, he did live and returned to Wilkes-Barre where he died in 1912. |

Thankyou Andysmum I will look at that. The Martin side of my family is a bit of a minefield, many Martin's marrying Martin's, trying to prove if they are related to each other!! I suspect they are. Names repeating themselves, and with no middle initial its really hard sometimes. I go round in circles, giving up and going back all the time. |
