Find Ancestors

I posted this post back in 2013 & was wondering if there is any new records being added since then that can help with my query?

I have for 13 years been trying to find who my 6x Great Grandfather Joseph Blackham married?
I know he was born 11th November 1635 at West Bromwich Staffordshire ,died 1716 Wolverhampton son of Thomas Blackham born a 1608 Wolverhampton died 1647 West Bromwich & Elinor Heath born 1612 Elistone Staffordshire ,died 1679 West Bromwich they married 23rd July 1633 West Bromwich

I know Joseph had children Joseph 1665 died 1716 Married Alice Hipkiss 21/8/1691 & Elizabeth ? whether there were any other children I do not know

I do have all of the tree from Joseph born 1665 my 5x Great Grandfather to the present day,so really only looking for Joseph's wife's name. Any help gratefully received

can't see any other childrens births apart from joseph jnr in 1665

Just in case anyone's looking for Ellen's earlier post -
it was in 2017, and there were no replies - only the post which she has copied above.

I agree with Maddie - the 1716 death is almost certainly that of a child

Please say how you've proved that Joseph (1635) was the father of Joseph (1665)

Sorry, but I can't see how that proves that he was the father of the child born 1665, which is what I asked

unfortunately, these "records" you are posting are just from other people's trees, and not necessarily correct.
Many people just copy from each others trees without checking independently.

Please READ CAREFULLY the info posted by Maddie at 10.46 yesterday.

Her info appears to be taken from online RECORDS - not from someone’s (probably inaccurate) tree

I did my tree years ago I am sorry to say I do not remember where I got this information from, possibly Family Search ? I have emailed a person who has Joseph born 1665 & died 1716 ( as my message above ) to ask where he got this information from will let you know if he returns my message Cheers Ellen

I think you'll find it's guesswork by someone who has a so-called 'tree' on Ancestry.

They don't even have the right wife for the man born 1665

Maddie's info CLEARLY shows the FATHER of the one born 1713 and died 1716 as RICHARD

Also, the birth and burial were in WOLVERHAMPTON - NOT West Bromwich

That's why I asked that you read it carefully.

Yes Maddie is correct Joseph Blackham born 1713 died 1716 was the son of Richard Blackham 1686 I do not know who his mother was

Sorry to say no he is not the Joseph I am looking for I have his father as Richard but no mother either
