From my various searches I think Sarah and Hannah Pamplin are one and the same person. Hannah Pamplin died and was buried on 12th December 1819 and then John Higgleton went on to marry Susan Green (possibly originally Susanna) on 13/05/1822. I am still trying to find out the birth date and place of birth for this John Higgleton. I am rather hoping that he might have been born in 1791 in Colne Engaine, but may have to resort to a marriage certificate between John and Susan Green in 1822. |

A marriage record from 1822 unfortunately won't tell you where or when he was born, though it might give a very rough idea of his age (eg - "full age"), and where he lived at the time of the marriage. |
