Malyon his christian names on that registration were "Richard Ashbrooke", there was no mmn on the GRO index - and his surname was Gregory - so Sarah's child before she married George.

Actually I think that birth is of Richard Gregory with middle name Ashbrooke denoting father's name. The Ashbrooke is not mother's maiden name.

Alfred was baptised in Jan 1879 and died aged 2 weeks, Jesse baptised mid Sept 1879 and died aged 3 weeks, so definitely not twins. I suspect Jesse was at least a bit premature.
