I have the marriage certificate and he states his age as 28 years and Elizabeth's as 26 years. |

I don't think he's the Newcastle man. If father's name was Patrick and he was a farmer then I think Michael was more likely born in Ireland. Loads of farmers in Ireland but we would more likely think of them as crofters or small holders. |
