George William Ingram seems to have been on the electoral registers at 1 Sweet Briar Grove Edmonton from 1925 or so, originally with a Thomas Hyland at that address in 1925. As women couldn't vote till aged 30, I don't know if Florence was living with them. |

Rootgatherer - re the 1939 register you posted, George William Ingram was a postman on his marriage to Florence in 1920, so looking like a match. |

Shirley, although it’s possible, it doesn’t ‘feel right’. I’m wondering if she left him & he remarried bigamously after 7 years. |

Well the 1931 death cert won't give a date of birth to double check |

Are you in contact with George and Lily's descendants in the hope that they heard what happened to Florence? |

Yes contacting the tree owners is the next step. The Ancestry Tree, the one with loads of photo's, seems to be a different Melton descendent. He may have been told why she disappeared, even if he doesn't know where. |

There are quite a few Ingram marriages in and around London to women with the name Florence B. so the death could be any one of those. |

If she did just leave and not die before the second marriage there is this death which could fit:- |

Yes, there is that 1962 death. As you say, it could be an unrelated person. |
