I am thinking it may be Eleanor Evans, that would tie in with the census that I think is them with David and Ellen at 8 Sunny Bank, if Elizabeth Ann and James's birth entries show mothers maiden name as Evans then I will be as sure as I can be that it the right marriage. |

If David was a widower when he married in 1881, the subsequent children can't have the same mother as Thomas. |

Yes I am thinking that Thomas's mother was Martha (in fact that is on his birth certificate) and the other 3 siblings belong to Eleanor. However, if I have the correct wives they both had maiden name of Evans. Not impossible as it is a common Welsh surname. |

Still can't find David on the 1881 census. By 1881 first wife Martha was deceased, and in Sept 1881 he married second wife Eleanor. |
