Yes- he did marry again:
Sheffield Evening Telegraph 04 October 1913
INCURABLY LAZY The man who married again
David Round a former Shirebrook collier had his character ruthlessly exposed at the Chesterfield County Police Court today. He was charged, that while living at Old Road, Whittington, he ran away and deserted his three children, who became, and still are, chargeable to the Chesterfield Union. Prisoner was arrested at Oldbury Worcester. Inspector Nuttall stated that while Round lived at Shirebrook he was incurably lazy and, his wife, in desperation, committed suicide by throwing herself under a train.
The Chairman (Mr C P Markham): His wife committed suicide and he deserted his children?
Deputy Chief Constable Faulkner: And got married again.
Prisoner: I wish you;d give me a chance, as I only got married again lately.
"Unless you pay £3 8s that is owing" pronounced the chairman "you'll go to Derby for three months.

His wife's death:
Sheffield Daily Telegraph 23 January 1911
SHE HAD BEHAVED LIKE A MAD WOMAN
There were several curious points raised at the inquest a Shirebrook on Saturday on a woman whose dead body was found terribly mutilated on the Midland Railway near Shirebrook Bridge. David Round of 12 Welbeck terrace, the widower was asked by the Coroner (Dr A Green)- What was your wife's full name. 'I do not know to hand' was the extraordinary reply...'Have you no idea what it is?' Round: Eliza Ann I expect sir... Witness stated that his wife whose age was 33 had suffered in health of late. She had been weak and of low spirited. The Coroner: What was the cause of it? Round: Poverty sir, He added that he had done what he could for her and the five children but he had been out of work for several week....
-It's a lengthy article, but the jury returned an open verdict.
