Hi
Thomas was my grandma's grandfather, he appears with his wife Mary in the 1871 census and children James and David, In the 1881 census Mary is a Widow but I have been unable to find death records for Thomas or a Marriage record for Thomas and Mary, could anyone help with this ?

As far as I know they were living in St Helens, I have James born c1857 and David c1860 but the census records can differ, but his wife is listed as Mary in the 1871 census

It does look as if they didn't marry. No marriage to be found between 1851 and 1861 when she's Pennington with two children. (Or 1856 when James was born.)
