I have a Clara Gretton born 1853 Hathern Leics father James mother unknown
I know she married James Wimterbotham ( he was born 1847 died 1900 ) 16/1/1870 at Basford & died 7/2/1928 under the name of Clara Clewes 2nd marriage was to a William Clewes 13/4/1900 Nottinghamshire he was born abt 1850 do not know when he died but before 1911

1881 CLARA & JAMES are living at 85 The Northgate Court Basford she is a 28 year old Lace Mender Small Ware Seller
1891 CLARA is Head of the house a Grocer living at 4 Shipstone Street, Radford, Nottingham

1911 CLARA is living at 26 Shipstone Street, Nottingham she was a 52 year old Widow she was a shop Keeper Beer Off license also living with her is a friend Nellie Heathcot aged 15 years

As for the Will- do you have a copy of it? Mr Oldham may have just been the executor.

I have just come across a Clara Lovett Gretton baptisted 8/4/1855 at Hathern, father Thomas mother Maria.
Maybe I have been given the wrong father ( James ) for her?
I wasn't able to find Clara on the Ancestry 1901 Census but did find her on the Find My Past Census as Clarice as well as her daughter Clara Emma & sent notification off to correct it
On the 1881 Census it has a son Arthur aged 15 years.
I do not have their marriage certificate but I will order one to give me her fathers name etc.

If it's the one I posted in 1851- looks like he also died- which would've left Clara an orphan:
