Could some kind person please look on above site for marriage of Eliza Holsebrook to James Upton 1861 St John the Baptist Whitwick Leicestershire please, would like to see who she put as father and who witnesses were please.

Hi safc,
Thank you don't know who they are, James died in 1866 and Eliza went on to mary James Whittle.
Her maiden name was Allsebrook but they have been hard to follow keep using different surnames, her sister used Harris (mother's maiden name) Allsbrook and Howe .
Still getting there slowly.

Hi Safc,
Thank you, yes have all those and mother Sarah nee Harris upto her death in 1873, she married Samuel Price in 1863 but need to send for that marriage it's not on line.
She married William Allsebrook in 1827 but on Aaron's christening and marriage he's down as Samuel and I don't think he is the father of Eliza and her sister Sarah.
Caroline Amelia Harris daughter of Sarah was born in Nottingham and then they went back to Loughborugh and then Whitwick.

No don't think it's that one she would be too young my Sarah was born abt 1802 and possible mother was Elizabeth as she is with an Elizabeth Harris on 1841 census in Whitwick.

On census she put Hugglescote as place if birth which is abt 8 miles from Whitwick. The only time she was Sarah Ann was on her marriage to William Allesbrook 1827
