	They could have changed their minds about her name after registering her, but then not changed the birth registration as they were supposed to do

	One Public Family Tree on ancestry suggests that Mary Bevan, b.ca 1860, went to NSW on an Assisted Passage, arriving 22 April 1882 That means she should be on the 1881 Census in the UK, but I haven't yet traced her.
