	Frances's surname has been mis-transcribed as "Degar" on the 1911 census. She is with the boarder Henry John "Henley?" who was with her in the 1901 census. Nottingham archives MAY have something of use. Just maybe, Mabel took out a court order against him, for child support. Or maybe Hilda was taken in as a ward before being placed with the Parkins.

	I have been looking at possible marriages for Mabel. I got quite excited over this one........ Marriages Dec 1911 (>99%) NICHOLLS Mabel Basford 7b 329 Swann Thomas Basford 7b 329 The problem is, there is a death for a Mabel Swann in 1918..... Deaths Dec 1918 (>99%) Swann Mabel 33 Basford 7b 364 Age 33.........so that would mean she was born 1885......whereas Mabel was apparently born in 1891. Still a possibility though. There was son born to the above marriage...... Births Mar 1912 (>99%) Swann John T Nichols Basford 7b 415
