I have a Lilly Smith b 1888 Barnsley, She married a Thomas Albert Baker, Thurnscoe in 1905, her father is named as Richard William Smith but I cannot find the family on the 1891 census, could someone have a look for me please, I have been looking for 3 days now.

Richards father was Richard Smith b, 1846 ? Kingswinford Staffordshire He married Emma Litchfield in 1864 Hoyland Barnsley this Richard Died in the swaithe mining disaster of 1875 and his age was put at 29 this would him being born 1846 but on his marriage cert to Emma he is down as being born 1842, his father is named on the marriage cert. as Thomas, I cannot find the family of this on either the 1851 or the 1861 census

I have only the info from Ancestry marriages and from the office that I have sent for the cert. of Lilly and Thomas that Richard is named. I never thought to ask his occupation. I await the marriage cert. arriving.
