Sylann the marriage to Joanna "Gilbert or Munro" could because be she was born Gilbert and married Munro ... it would seem very likely to be the same person since the coincidence of names would seem rather extreme otherwise ... but not impossible, for that reason (birth and married surnames) or some other |

I wondered the same ... couldn't find any confirmed sighting between 1851 and then (there is one in Scotland in 1861, nephew of a May Munro, but the other names don't fit) |

there are a couple of John Munro's born in Scotland down in the Plymouth area in both 1841 and 1851, living in Army Barracks |
