And this I believe is him in 1901
1901 England, Wales & Scotland Census Transcription
First name(s) George Last name Allsopp Relationship Boarder Marital status Widower Gender Male Age 36 Birth year 1865 Occupation Commercial Traveller Birth town - Birth town as transcribed LOUGH Birth county Leicestershire Birth county as transcribed LEICESTERSHIRE Birth place England Birth place other as transcribed - Other household member first name(s) - Other household member last name - Street Chapel Street Town - Parish Penzance City - Country England County Cornwall Municipal ward East Registration district Penzance Archive reference RG13 Piece number 2254 Folio 30 Page 13
The birth town - Lough is I expect short for Loughborough, about 5 miles from Wymeswold where he says he is from on the 1911.
Looks as though his (first?) wife has died and he is remarried by 1911

Possible for his marriage to Annie (!911 says 5 years above), looking at the place of birth for the last 2 children on the 1911.
Probably explains why some children have Goldsmith in their names if George 's first wife was still alive at the time or Annie Goldsmith wasn't free to marry.

On the image of the 1911 the three Goldsmith children do NOT have Allsop anywhere in their names. It's a transcription error.
George has written all of the names with surname first. The transcriber was obviously an idiot.

I believe on the 1911 census the surname of those 3 children is Goldsmith, presumably hers from a previous marriage. George & Annie had only been married 5 years, the last child would be theirs and the first one presumably his from previous marriage.
