	Well his marriage cert should name his father if known Have you looked for him on the 1841 and 1851 census

James Williams has died, Isabella has remarried and been widowed again? 	if james and isabella married in 1876 and had harriett in 1883 that seems along time to have a first child wonder if they had other children before harriett
