Not sure if I'm missing something but the James Taylor who died in Burnley in 1884 was sixty years old ...so that's why i thought too old. I didn't find a wedding in the local area fir a James Taylor and alice either so could still be a slim possibility that it could be the 1891 James Taylor death. He could have been living with Alice like Anne was living with William dean ? Wonder why Anne and William dean never married ..did find a William dean burial which may or may not have been him when he was 82 ..think he wad in with another lady named dean. Will check :-S |

No worries. Well guess we know it's not the 1884 one now ...but don't think it's the 1891 one either ...i know i need to start buying certs again ...my cousin who i can't get hold of at minute has loads ..but because I'm going round the houses to get to Thomas Duxbury somehow, i don't want to spend loads if i can help it...but i know that sometimes there's no other way . I found death of ann Taylor anyway ..died in 1923 aged 68 . She is in same grave as her daughter and son in law . When i get back to work ..have had op...then i will look on ancestry as well ...i really appreciate the time and effort and patience with my ramblings. <3 :-S :-) |

Thanks for the Joseph Taylor info :-)..and the James Henry Taylor birth info too.. Could be that neither partner of ann or William dean died and they just saud they were widowed . That might explain why they didn't get married ...but i do think possibly starting with Ethel they were William deans children ..perhaps . :-S ;-) |

Chris ..just as an aside .i managed to check who was living at 4 cricket street in Burnley iin 1921 to 1923 and it wasn't any tsylors or chadwicks. It was a Richard and jane smith. So think i do need to get that certificate for ann ...just to see who notified death etc ...and maybe check 1924 electoral roll too as i might have missed her . Should really get the Duxbury side certs anyway ...so think will order that one just to be certain its her ...think it is ..but you never know ... :-) |

Thanks Erica , Chris, DEA ....still scrolling and staring when i should be eating ..very addictive this is....now checking William dean. Found a reference to a William dean wanting a divorce in 1888 8 august in Burnley express but not sure what it says as I can't see it all. The age fits with him ..ish ..34 then ...may or may not be a connection .i can check the newspaper as it may give me sone clues if it is him . But he wasn't living with ann in 1881 so maybe not and still no sign of her on the 1891 census ? :-S :-) |

Found the wedding of howarth dean Taylor. In 1933. On it it says grooms father as William howarth dean miner deceased . So he confirms there that William dean was hus dad . Thanks for the clues pointing to that :-) |
