You might find the 1901 census page is missing and that's why you can't find them You used to be able to check the missing pieces for each area
I have a family missing on a 1901 census and was told their street from 18-32 was missing They lived at 18 because I have a birth certificate of a baby born at that time and she would have been a few weeks old

All,

so birth certificate has arrived for Martin - born Apr 1906 in Rosall Street, Pendleton Salford.
Father = Thomas.
Mother = Mary Ellen Morgan (formerly Butler)

Can't find Mary E Butler in 1901 census................... :-S

Dea - you were right!.
1901 census is missing Mary E McElroy but does show her children, another Mary E McElroy b 1884 and May and Florence. Living at 2 Rossall Street, Pendleton.

Now I have the details correct for 1911 and the 1891 - I just need t ofind out what happened to them in 1901.......
