A Public Family tree on ancestry has a death for Mary Simpson in 1847 ................. if true, that could explain why George was living with his grandparents in 1851. |

I don't think it's right Sylvia - there is a death for Mary Simpson in Church Hulme in 1847 but she is under 1 year old according to cheshirebmd, |
