I am hoping somebody will see this and be able to track back on William Stanton & family. (Re my message above) have been trying myself and found a few names but really need some help on this. I have a William Stanton B1884 Wootton Hardingstone Northamptonshire m to Ellen Moore - Father William B1856 Wootton m to Martha Ann Hodges - father Henry Stanton B1832 m to Sarah Spencer - and I think James m to Maria. I would like to put up another post but told not to.

Hi Marie, William 1884 (Widower) - Aged 34 Lived 47 Delapre Street, Northampton. His Occ was Iron Driller (I think that is what it says) Father deceased. That is the definitely the same William as on the marriage certificate.
Have to find out a little bit more about that his marriage before, have tried and there are two, Mabel Lewis m 1928 - died 1928 and Winifred M Taylor Married 1940 - died 1941. Don't know whether any of these are the ones but had a quick look before I put my message on board. Not that they are the most important item at the moment.
Would much appreciate it if you could back track the the Stanton family back further, I will try and find out some more information on William & Helens marriage plus birth. This is a great help, thank you so much and also for putting me on the right track.

Julia, could you confirm the occupations it gives on the marriage certificate for William and his father?

Just to be clear, is it the forebears of the William Henry born 1910 on this census that we're tracing back?
