I am trying to find out information on Henry, I have a relative 80 year later but need to trace back. Henry born 1832 Wootton Northamptonshire m Sarah Spencer B1823 I know they had four children Sarah William Ann & George. Please could somebody help me,

Local electoral rolls are held at the main library or records office for area but I believe they are only searchable by address not by name

It's possible William is in a care home will PM you with a possible address

Thank you everybody, I should have realised it was only the recent ones you could acccess on line. I really want to know what happened to them both, I know they were at my mothers wedding in 1962 and I was very close to them before I came to Australia. I might have to do as you suggest and maybe get their marriage certificate which would tell me a little about Bill. I know a lot about Vi but I think I will get her death certificate. So in view of her birth year it's unlikely the address I sent for William is the right one as he probably no longer here either

I thought the William you have down was the one but not sure. There is a photo on Ancestry but I can't see it properly and I think not. If it is he was married before to a Gladys Corthorn in 1920. Cannot find a death for her so probably wrong. There are so many Stantons, will have to get that marriage certificate which should give me his middle name.

Well they married in Sheppey and William died there too so think its a different stanton family

Thank you so much Reggie, that has really helped me, it looks like you might have found the right William for me. I think I will get William & Vi's marriage certificate and that should put me straight. I wonder if I could get a 1911 Census for him as that would be a great help to finding his parents.
