I appear to have lost a thread for Elizabeth Everson c1806 Dartford Kent. . I think there were 2 ladies involved in the search, it was very indepth
Elizabeth was sent back to the area her father was born as she was expecting an illegitimate child.
Is it possible to find this thread please
Thank you

The link on the thread I found does not exist. I suspect that is the one you were looking for. There is still a fair amount on google though.

Have managed to work out what you were trying to convey.
Why do people delete threads which have valuable info on them?

Hello LadyKira, I was given a possible marriage 12/9/1830 Holborn to William West, lived in Hammersmith with his 2 children. Assume this info abt 2 children was taken from a census but cannot find it now!
I did not take note of the 2 children and would like to see where they went from Hammersmith.
Thank you Rose

Hi Rose
I have found the marriage
London, England, Marriages and Banns, 1754-1921 about Elizabeth Eveson Name: Elizabeth Eveson Spouse Name: William West Record Type: Banns Event Date: 12 Sep 1830ion. Parish: St Andrew Holborn Borough: City of London Register Type: Parish Register
It was by banns and does not state any other useful information.
I have also found a conversation you had with Graham on another site.
You believe this is them in 1841 1841 census Civil Parish Hammersmith Hundred Ossulstone (Kensington Divn) Street address George Street William West 41 Carrier Elizabeth West 40 not born in County George West 15 Edward West 13
That would indicate possibly William was previoulsly married as the children were born beore then
You also think this is one of their children from IGI Elizabeth West christening 10/3/1833 St Paul, Hammersmith, London Father William West Mother Elizabeth but found no further trace.

You also believe that Elizabeth had a son Alfred ci827 illegitemately with William Curtis and it is Alfred you are trying to prove.
You think that Alfred is the illegitimate child of Elizabeth, daughter of William Everson and Mary Jones.
Original Pallots baptism in Hammersmith of Alfred in 1826 tells that the parents are Elizabeth Everson and William Curtis. IGI Alfred Curtiss christening 26/2/1826 Hammersmith, London Father William Curtiss Mother Elizabeth Everson
Graham's tree on Ancestry with regard to Elizabeth Everson has an entry on 11 November 1825 aged 19 under the heading Poor Law Removal from Dartford, Kent to the Parish of Fulham in the County of Middlesex. Probably when she found herself pregnant?
Seems like Mary aged 60 on the 1841 census was Alfred's grandmother. I think that Alfred used his Uncle James name on his marriage certificate.
1841 England Census about Alfred Everson Name: Alfred Everson Age: 14 Estimated birth year: abt 1827 Gender: Male Where born: Kent, England Civil Parish: Dartford Hundred: Axton, Dartford and Wilmington County/Island: Kent Country: England Registration district: Dartford Sub-registration district: Dartford Neighbors: View others on page Piece: 482 Book: 5 Folio: 24 Page Number: 41 Household Members: Name Age Mary Everson 60 Ann Everson 20 Alfred Everson 14
"On the 1841 census I have found a Mary Everson 60 with daughter Ann age 20 and son Alfred age 14(Smith) living in Overy Street Dartford. On 1851 census Mary is still living in Overy Street with her daughter Ann, Ann's husband William Rusbridge and their daughter Mary Ann. Alfred married Mary Ponting in 1848, Waterloo, Surrey. Marriage certificate states Alfreds father as James Everson, Blacksmith. I have not been able to find anything on James!
On every census since Alfred left home he has insisted that he was born in Hammersmith but I cannot find an Alfred born in Hammersmith. Mary Ponting was born in Dartford and l of their daughters was born 1850 Dartford, 2nd and 3rd children born Farningham 1854 and 1857. Their last child Alfred Emmanuel was born 1861 in Plumstead.
It seems very strange not to find an Alfred born in Hammersmith abt 1827 and this Alfred Everson apparently born in Dartford. On 1861 census when Alfred was living in Plumstead, it shows Edward 23, cousin (Blacksmith)born Dartford as a boarder with Alfred and his family. "

You have been in debate about his father being William or James.
This is the second marriage for Alfred and he again states his father is James. London, England, Marriages and Banns, 1754-1921 about Alfred Everson Name: Alfred Everson Estimated birth year: abt 1833 Age: 53 Spouse Name: Eliza Sloss Spouse Age: 33 Record Type: Marriage Event Date: 28 Mar 1886 Parish: Plumstead St Nicholas Borough: Greenwich Father Name: James Everson Spouse Father: James Sloss Register Type: Parish Register
This does not make sense if his mother was Elizabeth Everson single woman. I think you may need to look at this again. :-S

Hi ladykira,
Yes this is the Elizabeth I was looking for. I am so sorry to have put you through all that! I did not realise I had told Graham what had been found. I must have told him straight from the GR site without writing down the details on my familly record sheet thinking I could go back to it any time.
Are you able to find anything after the 1841 census please.
Most grateful Rose
