Im trying to find out any information about Freda Cornwall Jones of Winchcomb. Glous. She would of been my grandmother.Born 1904. My mother was born 1925 also in Winchcomb

some idea of birth year and area would help. your inquiry doenst give any help to us I am afraid

I can't see her in 1911.

We only have her name on my mothers birth certificate, no fathers name.

I think your best bet will be to buy a copy of the Winchcomb birth cert (details posted by several of us above), to find out her parents' names - or at least her mother's.

Then come back to your thread and let us know what it says, so that we can perhaps find her with her mother in 1911.

Or maybe find her mother before Freda's birth.

My mother was bought up by 2 nurses in worcester, not related.? Fostered but not on Banardos records.My mother has past away and it was then that on her birth certificate it occured to us she was illegitimate and maybe her mother,
( Freda) had not died at child birth as the story went but maybe went on to marry etc a
