There are two Margaret Riley births that could be hers on freebmd, one in 1876 and this one in 1877: |

The 1881 census should read BOUSFIELD |

If "niece" really means niece in the 1881, I don't think that's our Margaret. At least I can't see any Bousfield -Riley or Grimbley (or spelling variation)-Riley marriage except one in Shoreditch in 1875, which can't be relevant, because the wife (Elizabeth Grimbley) was born in Shoreditch, per censuses, whereas Margaret Bousfield (nee Grimbley/Grimley) was born Ormskirk. |

The Margaret Riley 1880 who is down as niece with the Bousfield family seems to become Margaret Bousfield daughter on 1891/1901 census!! |

Mike, so you don't think she's the one I posted in 1881? |

I've tried various spellings, but so far haven't found them in 1901. |

Sad to see that by 1911 they'd had 9 children, but only 2 had survived. |

Potty, I meant the Niece of John Bousfield in 1881. |
