Hi, ...all other census show her as Leary...so I guess her mother may have remarried to a Leary...and Eliza appears to have married what appears to be a step brother....but on her marraige she states her fathers name as Higgs ( looks like Edward /Edmund)...thank you Astra :-D

oops...sorry Eliza also married to a Humm before Leary....she was widowed from humm and then married Leary...but says her fathers name is HIGGS....hope that helps....its as clear as mud to me...jeez what a family...!!...lol :-D

The marriage of Eliza Humm to William Charles Leary was on 19 July 1910 and she gave her age as 39.....I suppose she could have told a porky because her husband was 30!

Thats her first husband Robert Humm and second is William Charles Leary...but the Higgs birth 1867 was male...?....Eliza was born in 1866...guess Eliza could have been born out of wedlock...?.... :-D

So on her marraige cert.... that must be an error and she gave her mothers name instead of her father....oooooo and what a fibber my nanny was...and jeez this lady's life is so confusing she has me going round in circles...!!...lol... :-D...thank you all for your help...!!... :-D
