Well done, Maddie & Astra!!! I too was wondering about the change of name from Eliza to Elizabeth!!!

According to the marriage cert Edward was a widower and Elizabeth nee Dowsett was a widow

So if William Charles was born in October 1880 and the marriage was in February 1880 was Elizabeth pregnant when she married which is why his real name is Schackenberg

Wow...look at all them Schnackenbergs....!!...I can sure sift through that lot in the next few days...William Leary's sister....I think her name may have been Marion Schnackenberg was deaf and dumb... and I can just remember her...!!..Wow you lot have been incredible...thank you all for your help...it is really appreciated..!!.... :-D
