So intrigued I used a couple of my 1939 credits...

Norman E Thomas born 29 May 1915 (mmn Harding) living with Frederick "I" 08 February 1876 and Elizabeth Thomas 03 March 1880 at 46 Sutton Road Newport.

Frederick was an Inspector Post Office Engineer (retired)

One must assume that one of the 'sons' was Angela's father...................so surely she knows his details in full

Perhaps we will be enlightened...eventually

I too looked for a marriage of a Kenneth to a Trixie or Beatrice or........ but could not find any with a name that was remotely like Trixie in the Newport/Bridgend type areas

There is a 1946 birth for Susan E with MMN Evans

What was her married name?

You say she was widowed when she and her mother returned to the UK.

And WHEN was that?

If DONALD was definitely your UNCLE......buy his birth cert, to find out the names of his parents

This time it's about Donald & wife.

they are Angela's auntie and uncle...

So she is more closely connected to these people than she implies

Would Trixie have been Beatrice, or something else?
Nothing suitable for Beatrice.
If he was born in 1880, all children could have been born before 1911 and Angela could have completely the wrong birth dates.
Need one definite fact.

he lived in sutton rd newport ,all i know it that he died when i was about 5 ,which would be around 1955. kenneth was maried to trixie and lived in bridgend ,donald married lillian lived in llangwm moved to south africa and died there. daughter susan [widowed] and mother came back to newport ...thats all i have

Poster said Frederick was father to the boys.
Maybe they had different mothers.

I can't find any of these boys names all with the same mother's maiden name.

We definitely need more information from Angela.
