More on his divorce .....
The Liverpool Echo 15 Oct 1915 reports on Lilian's application for restitution of conjugal rights.
They married 11 April 1901 in Kensington and then went to live Seaforth near Liverpool. Cecil resigned his commission with the Royal Artillery and in 1914 took a commission with the Army Ordance dept. Lilian went to live with her mother in London and Cecil was in Chatham. She visited him several times but he wouldn't provide a home for her. He told her to stop visiting him and he didn't want to be with her anymore.
The judge awarded restitution to Lilian, to be obeyed within 14 days.
