There was also John Toy born @ 1827 Jailed in Durham for Larceny 4/1/1841.

A Bridget Toy 1823 died Ireland 1893(Maybe connected)

Hi Ann, thank for the marriage between Toy Mitchell marriage - not sure what the middle information is but it does show a link between the NE and the Cornwall like the newspaper articel from 1850.

Hmmmmm interesting.

I have no idea what became of either John Toy or his wife Bridget or their children. I added a post here earlier in the year but it was unsuccesful.
