Census 1861 shows a Jane Allington born Northamptonshire as per the census entries, with father called Henry who is a cordwainer, which fits reasonably with the marriage details. |

I saw the Mitchell-Dimock marriage that PH posted but wasn't sure, as there seemed to be quite a difference in occupation between a gas fitter as per census 1851, and a printer. |

I can't find a marriage yet for the Henry Chandler who married widowed Sarah Mitchell, I had hope if it were recorded in the LMA records that we might obtain the surname of her father. |

Re Jane Allington's parentage, I couldn't find the girls in 1871 to confirm, but my guess is that Mary A is actually Henry's wife and should have been recorded as daur in law not daur. |
