Yes, that's them. They moved to Devonport after the first couple of children. And by 1881 Richard had already died. :-( |

That's definitely them. But no trace of Richard, since he left home at 16, and therefore no further evidence on any census. All I know from the Cornwall Records Office is a reference to him by his sister Elizabeth, dedicating a book of his writings, and saying that he traveled to New Brunswick, died in 1868, and is buried in St.John's Cemetery. I'm wondering if St.John's cemetery in New Brunswick has records, and how to access them. |
