Find Ancestors

I can't find a marriage for Betty Whitehead to Richard Greenwood in Oldham in about 1830.

Richard was dead by 1838 but by then they had three children.

Can anyone help?

What were the names?

The problem I have is Betty Greenwood was living with two of her children Hannah and William in 1841.

No husband
The only death of a Greenwood I could find was Richard.

I need to get William and Hannahs Birth Certs.

But I want to find Bettys marriage too.

William was 1836 but Hannah was 1838/9

So you guessed the name of the man she may have married..................

Just because the husband wasn't there in 1841 doesn't mean he'd died

Did you check 1851?

You haven't yet said how you know the woman's maiden name

The third child James is found on the 1841 living with his grandmother Susanna Whitehead.

Guessed is harsh, theorised more like.

When did he die?

Originally you said they had 3 children by 1838. Could Ann be the third?

I need to get William and Hannahs birth certs but even then I might not be able to link James to Henry
