that is the book ann and as bourton on the hill is part of moreton in the marsh they may well have come across him. a copy is in the gloucester archives. |

Thank you all for your suggestions but I fear none of them help. The name on the memorial is quite definitely Cyril B C Sprules. Before this I tried the CWGC website with no luck. I have tried Glousestershire sites with no response which is where I had hoped someone with liocal knowledge would help |

I've just looked at a picture of the memorial on the net. He is definitely listed but only as Cyril Sprules on the image shown. So where does the BC come from?? |
