John's address on the marriage cert is 53 Stirling Street Glasgow and the marriage was registered in Milton for St Joseph's Churgh (of which there are 7 in the Glasgow area).....there doesn't seem to be a Stirling Street listed on Google maps there is a Stirling Road and a Stirling Street in Cumbernauld. I will try the National Library for old maps. |

There was a Stirling Road in Glasgow at that time which I think would come under St. Rollox area then. |

Good morning Annie. This certainly looks like your Gran. Address is correct although her age is a wee bit out. Port Dundas is the same district as Stirling Street! Their name has been mistranscribed as McCornack but is almost certainly McCormack. |

I have tried the 1911 census for Ireland but haven't come up with anything so far. Also tried for a marriage of Edward and Alice but again so far nothing. |

Aileen, do you think that could be a second marriage for Edward? Nearly 6 years between Mary and Charles. I am sure it is the correct family so it looks like they had only been in Scotland for 3 months at most. The only thing that concerns me is Mary's age and I am wondering if Annie has the correct birth certificate. |

There are marriage record for 1887 Co Derry for both Edward McCormack and Alice McCreanor but it costs 5 euros to view each record and although I'm fairly sure it will be them I don't have any credits left |
