A lot of her family are from Chichester - although there is a Dorset connection - so I am not sure where she was born - BUT - the date is accurate as it is on her marriage AND her death record.

No marriage on freebmd for the father's full name - perhaps he married outside the UK? Perhaps the daughter was born outside the UK?

I've never known a birth date to be on a marriage cert

When did she die?

Info on a death cert is only 'as known' to the informant, and cannot be guaranteed to be correct

if her father was a soldier could it be on the births to military personnel overseas lists (I think there is such as thing, maybe on find my past, sure someone else will know more)

Rose/Rosa's marriage cert will name her father - should help with identifying her relationship (if any) to Jessie

It may help - if I could find the family in 1891 - as I know that Jessie would be 1 yr old & I know that by her marriage in 1915 - her father John had died......

Her birth record is a mystery though

I havent been able to find Jessie Isish in the 1891 census - she would be 1 & her father John was a soldier.
Also
I havent been able to find Rosa Irish in the 1891 census Rosa would be 15.
I am not sure of their relationship - that is one of the things that I am trying to find out...ie cousin/ aunt / neice/ sister etc

If anyone is able to take a look for me on the census ( I may be missing it ) - it would be much appreciated.
