Hi Christine & Janey,
I have now had a reply from family history on the Lambourn site re: the Prior's . Liz made contact with the family , they gave her their email add to pass on to me . Joseph Prior my half uncle was the father of seven so now i have all their names whereabouts & how many children they had . My contact is actually Joseph's youngest child . We are making plans for a family gathering in the spring .
How great is that!!!!!!
Best regards Jenny

Hi LadyKira,
I have found....as i suspected that my two families of Westall's are connected ....They actually joined 270 years ago with the second marriage of my 6x grandfather John Westall 1718 on my Mother's side ..his first marriage was to a Hester Benfield 1718....his second marriage was to a Mary Parme 1740 ...this is where my Father's line stared....their son Thomas Westall 1770.....his son Timothy Westall 1824.....his son George Westall 1874 ....down to my Father Ernest Westall 1922. There were four second marriages through from John down to George.
Thanks for all your help, also to the others who have helped me along the way :-) :-) Keep up the good work Jenny X

Nice to hear both the modern-day connections and the ancestral ones made - thanks for telling us!

Hi Jennifer

Good to see you are making progress. It is that kind of twist that makes this so fascinating.
