I have the following RELIABLE info re Dorothy Rhoda Mary Organ:(Certificates etc
Trained as nurse 1936-1939. Family home Wrexham. ? when moved from M/Chester.
Married Donald Hicks Organ 4/7/40 age 24?!Donald divorced Dorothy.
Dorothy had daughter 1946! Donald not father.Baby adopted!
Married Leonard Parfitt 1958. Age then 39 but does not correspond with age at 1st marriage!Fred Chadwick (deceased)named as father.
Dorothy died 1983 in London.

Thanks all for interest.DRM/Chadwick/Organ/Parfitt died Nov.1983 in London. I have the certificate! Person who registered the death did not know her very well. Error on DOB, didn't know husbands first name etc.!
It's DOB, original name, and why adopted are the questions I need answered.
Don't know why Amy in 2009 stated mother Mabel Hill, or the Archibald Mcindoe connection (NZ). Amy seems to be the only one who can tell us.

Freebmd has no entry for anyone at all with Christian names Dorothy Rhoda Mary between 1910 and 1920.

As she was adopted by Fred and Emma Chadwick they may have given her those names. Her birth names will be the ones in Freebmd,as are mine! If anyone tried to find me, using my names given by my adopive parents they won't find me.
With Dorothy we also have the added problem that adoptions weren't recorded prior to 1927!
Fred and Emma had two sons, so it's their descendants who may know something!
I wonder is Amy (original post in 2009) a descendant?

So do you know her original name at all? Either Christian name or original surname???

No I don't

I'm afraid that I think this is a hopeless task, then.
Only possibility is to find the descendants you mention, but even they may well not know anything which goes back so many years.

Re original Question.Dorothy Rhoda Mary Organ nee Chadwick. I now know she had a child with Donald Hicks Organ on 17th May 1941. John Howard Organ.
Cannot find any more information about him since his birth!
Would be grateful for any information.
