i'm looking to find out what happened to this william as i know he was about 5 or 6 in the 1911 cenus his parents were george and winifred gregory, he could be the older brother of my grandfather who also was called william |

i know all that what i would like to know is did william george gregory die in infancy or di he live to an old age cos if he died in infancy then it's possble that my grandfather could of been his younger brother |

that's not much help i was rather hoping that william george may of died at an early age cos then that might explain why there was to william's in the same family, but i guess it's back to the drawing board again thanks any way |

It's quite possible that 2 siblings shared variations of the same name ie George William and William George, I looked up to 1922 and couldn't see him, doesn't mean he didn't die tho, you'd have to do a page by page search to see, Good Luck |

well my grandfather was called william andrew and his father is listed on his marrige cert as george, but i cant seem to find william andrew on the 1911 cenus, so without anything else to go on i am now totally stuck |

according to william andrew's marriage cert his father was a gardener, now i clocked george gregory (market)gadener in 1901 and he was living with his parents, and in 1911 he has a wife and child but not my grandfather, now i have shaken lots of trees but nothing it's like he doesn't exist, but i have photos, so i've been wondering if possibly he was registered under his middle name then christened wiliam andrew later. i also cant find wiliam andrew in the 1911 cenus, so i was wondering if he was born after the cenus was done |

william andrew gregory was married to jeanie o brien moultrie in jan 1940 at brentford registry office he was 29 and she was 24 he was in the army. |
