You have probably given up and gone to bed but if not..
I have posted my problem before unsuccessfully

Looking for a 1st marriage of Simeon Hitchcock b 1786 West Hanningfield, Essex d 1856
I have his 2nd marriage Eliza Drake 1833 Notts thanks to this site.
He was an Excise Officer and apparently they were moved regularly so they wouldn't get too friendly with the locals.

I'm off to a 3yr old party will return this pm Oz time

The record just isn't there and due to him moving regularly then he could have married anywhere.

Were any children born out of this marriage - it might be possible to find the mothers name this way?

I am having all sorts of problems trying to find the parents of Ruth Letitia Louisa Burgess b1872 in Halling, Kent (or at least that is where she lived - she may have been born in Ryarsh, Kent or New Hythe, Kent). I have found her in the 1891 census living with per mother, Emma and her stepfather Edward Rushmer or Rushmoor in Halling.

I need to try and find out her real fathers name and/or her mothers maiden name.

Just to throw things a little further, I have been told by someone sle that her mother was Elizabeth and her stepfather George Rushmer, although I cannot find either of these on the census records.

Sorry to put a nasty puzzle like this on you, but I am just going round and round in circles. Thanks in advance.

However, I have tried to find the marriage between Philip & Emma and can't. I have also tried to find the marriage between Edward Rushmer (Rushmoor) & Emma and can't. I would have at least expected to find one of them.

Anyhow, you need to get her birth certificate to be 100%. I don't know who told you that Elizabeth was her mother because I haven't seen this anywhere!!!

Could you look up James Feares Russell for me. Born 1864 Deptford Hackney, London and listed as a scaffolder. Believe he married twice. First wife Harriet. One of his children James Feares born 1893 and died 1894. It is common name and hence the difficulties.

but gave no references and without references the information is uselass.
By the way the party was wonderful, lovely weather by the river.

Is there any chance you would be able to find a George Edward Hensby b.4.12.1903 in Greenwich. His Sisters were Ada and Dorothy (we think), and he married Gladys Mary Ellen Hillman in Greenwich 28/10/1922. We are trying to go back farther than him but are hitting brick walls everywhere.
He had a son George Arthur b.17/04/1923, and two daughters Elsie and Evelyn, born approx 1933 and 1943.

There may be a connection with the Navy, and the family may have had connections in Norfolk but we have no proof of either.

Please can you try and find David George Lucas on the 1901 Census. He was born 1884 in Lamberhurst, Sussex/Kent border and is not with his parents. So may be boarding somewhere? He doesn't seem to have died before 1901, that I can see. There are a couple of possible marriages after 1901 in the Outer London area. I'm hoping if we can pinpoint where he is it might give me a clue as to which marriage may be his.

In 1911 census there is only one family in Greenwich with the name of Hensby your names check out.

So the parents are Edward & Alice Hensby. However no marriage match is coming up on them.

Here are the other births all in Greenwich - I suggest you get George Hensby's birth certificate to be 100%. Its the only way.
