I suppose it is a little hard to follow and a lot of information all at once.
You may find it easier to follow if you print it out.
The details are of your Henry 1841 right back to the 1841 census. His father was also called Henry and his mother Elizabeth.
I posted Henry and Elizabeth in 1861/71/81 after Henry had left the family home.
The details Ozibird put from IGI information is the marriage of Henry's parents, Henry and Elizabeth , and then one further generation back. The parents of Henry 1809 were Joseph and Sarah.
Hope you can follow this easier now.

I have put all the census years for Henry born 1841 in one document, and also saved the census images so if you would like me to email them to you I will.
Just click on my name to send me a private message with your email address.
It must be overwhelming to receive so much information all at once.

I sent you a PM with my gmail address. Thats very kind of you. I find it hard to link things, although I have done a lot via my own research and via GRU contacts. I do find this hobby very interesting but getting the certs does cost a small fortune if you want hard proof of marriages etc. I already have many but nothing on the Woolhouse name. Ozibird suggests Frank Woolhouse was in the "Sappers" (army) do any of the database systems you use have photos or info of army service and overseas emmigration abroad?? Do you think the name Woolhouse is linked to Wool or a house for keeping wool?? its seems to make sense!!

Thanks Christine got the censue sheets. Very kind. Its amazing to think they were written by hand in old ink pen by some poor guy all those years ago. What a job collecting census info. Walking up lanes and streets and knocking on all kinds of doors to get family household info!!! different times. Little would he know his hand writting would be there for all to see year and years later!!!

The Frank Woolhouse, the Sapper, was born in Marylebone. I think he may be a cousin of some sort.
I've been working back through the Henry's siblings. I'll add what I've found so far.
Here's Frank first. The best thing for you to do is print it all, cut it up & sort it all out like a family tree.
However,
FRANK Births Jun 1875 Woolhouse Frank Percy Kensington 1a 131
with siblings ALICE Births Mar 1871 Woolhouse Alice Susan Kensington 1a 144
FRED & HENRY - look like twins Births Dec 1873 Woolhouse Frederick Charles Kensington 1a 121 Woolhouse Henry George Kensington 1a 121
It looks as if FRED married Bertha Hayward in 1905, & HENRY a Florence Smith or Rogers. Both Florences are possibilities, for example.
Births Jun 1913 Woolhouse Frank L Smith Camberwell 1d 1446 Woolhouse Frederick H Rogers Sheffield 9c 1212
It looks like ALICE never married, & I guess you know who FRANK married.
There are possible other siblings between the marriage of Frank's parents & their eldest surviving child, Alice. However there is at least one other family of Woolhouses in Kensington at that time so other births in that area are not necessarily immediate family.
Frank's parents are HENRY Woolhouse & SUSAN Bunting Marriages Jun 1866 ARIS Ann Kensington 1a 120 >>>BUNTING Susan Kensington 1a 120 GILKES James Kensington 1a 120 >>>Woolhouse Henry Kensington 1a 120
In the 1881 & 1891 Henry is a builder & decorator with his sons as assistants or, in Frank's case, an apprentice in 1891. By 1901 he has branched into the Ironmongery business with all his son as Ironmonger's assistants.

To go further back, HENRY was born c1841 in Saxilby, Lincolnshire to HENRY Woolhouse & ELIZABETH Toyn Booth. IGI Individual Record HENRY WOOLHOUSE Marriages: Spouse: ELIZABETH TOYN BOOTH Marriage: 26 JUN 1834 Broxholme, Lincoln, England
Source Information: Batch No.: M027293; Dates: 1642 - 1837
In the 1841 census HENRY & ELIZABETH had 2 daughters & 2 sons older than Henry. MARY & ANN (probably twins) born c1836 but christened in Saxilby 5 May 1835 according to the IGI. Then there are CHARLES c1837 & JOSEPH c1839. HENRY snr is a joiner (or carpenter). In 1851 he's a master joiner which usually means he's an employer or has an apprentice. His sons are still scholars. Ann is a teacher (probably pupil-teacher) & Mary is a servant to a Wooldridge family in Lincoln.
By the 1861 census the family has scattered. HENRY jnr is also a joiner, lodging in Brightside Brierlow, Yorkshire. ANN is also in Brierlow working as a barmaid for her Aunt Ann Thompson who is an innkeeper. Interestingly Ann Thompson's son-in-law & family are living with them. His surname is Wooldridge (circles within circles). MARY has married Joseph Smith. A farmer 15 years her snr. They are living with her parents-in-law, also farmers. Marriages Sep 1860 Smith Joseph Lincoln 7a 731 Woolhouse Mary Lincoln 7a 731 CHARLES has married a Mary Brocklebank & is living with his parent-in-law in Lincoln. He has a 7 month old son called William B Woolhouse & he's, of course, a joiner. Marriages Sep 1860 Brocklebank Mary Lincoln 7a 750 >>>Brocklebank Mary Emily Lincoln 7a 750 Coy Ann Lincoln 7a 750 Longman James Lincoln 7a 750 >>>Woolhouse Charles Lincoln 7a 750 JOSEPH is living with his aunt, Mary Elston - more about her later. What a surprise! He's a carpenter & joiner. Also in the household is Mary's daughter Caroline. JOSEPH marries her in 1864. Marriages Mar 1864 Cropley William Lincoln 7a 651 >>>Elston Caroline Lincoln 7a 651 Richardson Eliza Lincoln 7a 651 >>>Woolhouse Joseph Lincoln 7a 651
In the 1871 census HENRY snr & ELIZABETH are still living in Saxilby. ANN has married Henry Robinson. They & their 3 children are living in Spittlegate, Grantham. He's a chief clerk of some kind. The writing is difficult to read. Marriages Dec 1861 Robinson Henry George Lincoln 7a 967 Woolhouse Anne Lincoln 7a 967 MARY & is still in Helmswell. It looks like her husband has inherited the farm. CHARLES has died. Deaths Jun 1865 Woolhouse Charles Lincoln 7a 290 Looks like his son died too. Deaths Jun 1861 Woolhouse William Brocklebank Lincoln 7a 204 I can't find his wife, Mary. JOSEPH is living in Lincoln with Caroline & 2 daughters. He's a carpenter with partner. Lucy Elston - widow, age 40 - is with them, HENRY is a foreman builder living with his wife & children in Kensington.

Now to go further back.
HENRY snr was born c1808 in Ingham, Lincolnshire, christened 31 July at Ingham. His parents were JOSEPH Woolhouse & SARAH ?
According to the IGI he had at least 6 siblings. JOSEPH, JOHN, MARY, EDWARD, FREDERIC & EDMUND.
In 1841 JOSEPH & SARAH are living in Ingham. Their daughter, MARY Elston, is visiting with her daughters Betsey & Caroline. Remember I said they'd be more about her later? There is no record of Joseph's occupation but he's well off enough to be "índependent." JOSEPH jnr is living with his wife, Harriet Otter, & their 7 children in Faldingworth, Lincs. He's a farmer. You can find his marriage on the IGI (www.familysearch.org) JOHN is living with his wife, Elizabeth, & 8 children in Southorpe, Northamptonshire. Their eldest child is called Marshall so it's very likely that was Elizabeth's maiden name. MARY married Thomas Elston. Thomas & their 2 eldest daughters are living in Bail Gate, Lincoln. He's a cordwainer (shoemaker). EDWARD is a butcher in Ingham. FREDERIC married Susannah Green. He's living with his wife & 3 children in Ingham. He's a wheelwright. EDMUND is living in Ingham with his wife, Eliza, & baby daughter. Next door to JOSEPH & SARAH. He's a wheelwright. Marriages Jun 1840 CLARKSON Caroline Lincoln 14 799 JEWITT Susan Lincoln 14 799 >>>MARSHALL Eliza Lincoln 14 799 MAWER John Lincoln 14 799 WOOD James Lincoln 14 799 >>>WOOLHOUSE Edmund Lincoln 14 799 What did I say about circles within circles.
By the 1851 JOSEPH is a widow, occupation Annuitant, born Bassingham Lincs. His married son, EDWARD - a butcher, is with him but no wife in sight. JOSEPH jnr is still in Faldingworth with his family. He's now an innkeeper as well as a farmer. JOHN is still in Southorpe with his family. He's farming 44 acres with 3 labourers. MARY is in Bail Gate, Lincoln with Thomas & their 6 children. He's now a publican. EDWARD's with his father. FREDERIC is now a master carpenter in Ingham, still with wife & children. EDMUND is living in Langrickville, Lincs with Eliza & 3 children. He's a carpenter.
1861: JOSEPH jnr is still in Faldingworth with his family. Victualler & farmer of 40 acres. JOHN & his family are still in Southorpe. Farmer of 145 acres employing 3 men & 2 boys. MARY - as already told in Henry's story, she's in Lincoln with daughter Caroline & nephew Joseph. EDWARD looks like he married Mary Waby. He's a butcher & has an 11 year old daughter, Sarah Waby. Marriages Jun 1853 WABY Mary Lincoln 7a 884 Woolhouse Edward Lincoln 7a 884 FREDERIC is still a carpenter. He & his family have moved to Lincoln. EDMUND is still a carpenter in Langrickville with Eliza.
1871: JOSEPH jnr has died. Harriet is a widow. JOHN, Elizabeth & a couple of children are still in Southorpe. Farmer of 148 acres employing 1 labourer & 2 boys. MARY may have died. I can't find her on the census. Deaths Sep 1864 ELSTON Mary Lincoln 7a 284 EDWARD continues to be a butcher in Ingham with his wife, Mary. FREDERIC is back in Ingham. He's still a carpenter, however he's now widowed. He has an unmarried son & 2 grandaughters living with him. EDMUND has died. Eliza is a widow in Haven Bank with their youngest, married daughter. Deaths Dec 1861 Woolhouse Edmund Horncastle 7a 293
1881 you can check for yourself.
