Hi Marcie
You dont give birth dates for either of them and they are both quite common names.
If Thomas Edwards came back with the army he wont be on these lists as they are commercial listings rather than military.

HI Jean
Ive checked for all Williams returning Boston, but none fit the age you have given. There are no Ann Atkinsons returning from Boston either. Do you have a birth year for Ann and an occupation for William.

Thank you Julia They are not my family but really appreciate you taking the time to look for me. I have just read a thread criticising people who offer look ups but please ignore them it is people like yourself who provide vital information to connect our relatives. Many thanks Jean

These are incoming to UK lists. If he came back, do you know roughly when and if he would be travelling with anyone i.e. a wife.

Hi Julia, I know William had a family, I found by chance (having been looking for information on him since 2004) his gravestone on the "findagrave" website last night which led to finding his obituary in Delaware libraries online newspapers.Unfortunately there were no names in the obituary. I know he went to live in America during the 1920's. Its possible he returned in 1932 when his mother died or when his father died in 1957. I would think departure from New York to either Glasgow or Southampton (outside chance Liverpool)
