Is this the 1851 census.
George Eyres 1800 Tadley Hampshire occ chair bottomer
Rosa ( could be Roda) 1812( age obscured so could be wrong looking at the childrens ages) Great Bedwin Wiltshire
Susan Wellock 1831 Baden Berkshire. living with Ayres family. No Nehemia present. There is a Namima 1828 Inham Hampshire but supposed to be a girl

Sorry cant cut and paste cos dont know how.
This should give you enough to find them

Im wondering if your Eyres/Ayres are travellers. This might explain why you are finding it difficult to find them and why no marriage

Im finding Eyres family in 1871 Hampshire who are travellers. No first names

In 1881 census I found Neptune Ayres 1851 Hampshire occ hawker married to Delitha.
One of the children is Rhoda

This family is living in Gipsy tent Western Green

In 1851 your George Eyres and family are living in Camp possibly on South Side Farm
The family appear to be picking something but cant make out what

OMG!!! And I thought I had a challenge for you guys. YOU ARE AWESOME!! Thankyou soooooo much. Yes, 1861, things are hazy. A letter from catherine's daughter (second marriage) says that catherine's uncle travelled heaps on his ships, and perhaps Louisa left and went with him? You have just about finished my whole fitzgerald family tree!! I can't thankyou enough. You are S E N S A T I O N A L!!!
How did you find all this info? I have some census info, but I couldn't find them all. I WOULD LOVE to see the tree you have put together, I must admit I am a lil confused. I have heard through the family tho that apparently all oswestry fitzgeralds are from the same family. I just realised, should I be clicking on ADD to write this, or am I doing this right???

All right you bored people.

As the proud owner of a thread on Railway Ancestors,
and a dodgy internet connection,
I`ll let you see if you can find anything on my Aaron Parfrement (he he).
He was born 1840 Kings Lynn (under Parfremint) and is resident their in 1841(Parpement) & 1851(parfsement).
In 1861 his mothers died & hes not living with his father John Parfrement(under Perferment)
What I do have is a notice from the London Gazette seeking relatives dated 6 Apr 1877 with the suggestion he died between 1865-1877. I`m presuming hes abroad in 1861 but can`t find any record of him in Army service records at the national archives online. Any other suggestions?
I need someone with access to Find My Past to go through the army death indexes thoroughly under P as I currently have 5million variant spellings of the surname.
Any takers?

I don't have an ancestry subscription. My husband said I could have one or the other!! GGGGrrr!! How expensive is it? I have posted things on there before because of search links. Do I have to have a subscription to search this stuff?

Margaret, many thanks,

That's is the reason why i am having trouble and there is a possibility of a name change to Turner. But i cannot base my reasons on a source, well i sort of can but i cannot prove they are the one and the same.(i hope you understand that?) I do believe that this is them in 1851. As i mentioned in my first post.
Where abouts was the 1871 one you mentioned i would love to have a look,

Neptune might be something to do with this family, still looking in to that,as well.
Many thanks Tina

Kenzie.
For the 1871 census type in Eyres no first names living Holdenhurst Hampshire.
Neptune Ayres I found mistranscribed yesterday on a different census but now I cant find him.

The Eyres family with Susan Wellock in 1851. One of the children Louisa is born Odiham.
1851 census
I also found an Elizabeth Eyres neice 1849 Odiham living with William Eggar 1813 and family in Odiham Hampshire.
Williams wife Harriet born 1813 Dam Husband Hampshire. She might be related
The Eggars are not travellers though. They are living in railway cottages.

In 1871
Paul Ayres and family living Long Sutton. They have a son Galiath ( name changed to Goliath by a member AlmaBacon1) Perhaps you should contact her as she may have more Eyres/Ayres family.

I expect you have already been on the Traveller/Gypsy websites
